VIDEO: Buhari’s AK-47 order: There will be trouble if DSS, Army go after farmers – Sunday Igboho warns

Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has warned the Department of State Services, DSS, Nigerian Army, and the police against killing farmers in the Southwest and Southeast.

Igboho warned that there would be trouble if DSS, police and Army go after innocent farmers while enforcing the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari’s shoot on sight order of those caught with AK-47.

He issued the warning in a video posted on Twitter by a former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode.

The activist urged the security agencies to be fair in carrying out the directive by the President.

Speaking in Yoruba language, Igboho said:” My name is Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho.

“Concerning President Buhari’s directive to kill any herdsmen found with AK-47, we are happy with this decision.

“It’s not like these Fulani herdsmen are just carrying guns, they have been doing that since and it is not new.

” Thank God that our voices were heard. To all DSS, Police, Army and Civil Defence who would act on the President’s command, please be fair.

“Don’t go to Igbo or Yoruba lands to kill our farmers and then lie that they carried a gun. If you do such, there will be trouble in the land.

” Sheikh Gumi has shown you the way to capture these bandits, Go there and do your work properly.”
