VIDEO: Amotekun arrest pupils for modelling themselves like Naira Marley
The singer sees it has a child abuse and has asked people to find out the name of the school so he can go and question the school authority on why the school invited security personnel to arrest the kids.
Just like a drama on Friday as South-West security outfit, otherwise known as Amotekun corps has arrested some school children for modelling themselves as popular singer Azeez Adeshina Fashola who is professionally known as Naira Marley.
The school children of a yet to be identified Secondary school in one of the South-West states were caught in a bush during school hours.
In the video which has gone viral, a lady who is supposedly a teacher in the school described the boys as criminals and also disclosed that they were apprehended in a bush.
According to an eyewitness, the secondary students (JSS2 and SS3) were caught smoking in a bush.
In the video, one of the boys nick named himself after a popular street singer, Naira Marley.
According to an eyewitness, the secondary students might appear at a court or might face suspension from school due to their bad behaviour.
Meanwhile, Singer Naira Marley reacted to some school children being arrested by Amotekun operatives for modelling themselves as him.
The singer was so angry and furious seeing the video and as condemned the act of Amotekun personnel who arrested the pupils.
The singer sees it has a child abuse and has asked people to find out the name of the school so he can go and question the school authority on why the school invited security personnel to arrest the kids.
The singer also said he wants to meet with the kids as to give them money.
He added that the teachers and security operatives with guns need to be arrested.
The singer wrote;
“Guys look what’s happening in stupid Nigeria.
“How can you arrest school kids? This is child abuse. The teachers and these stupid uncles with guns need to get arrested.
“I want to meet all these kids I owe them, please help me with the name of the school or link me up with any of my Marlian Kids. Thanks.
“I wanna see the witch behind the camera self. Wtf is amotekun self?? If they treat ur child like this, what would u do? Did u see the slap?? U calling someone child criminal??
“Omoo I’m so angry give me school name pls. I need to go there”.
