Varsity Students Protest Over Suspension Of RUGA
A time when some Nigerians strongly unopposed the establishment of the RUGA project, some students of Usman Dan Fodio University (UDUS) Sokoto, took to the streets to protest over the suspension of the planned RUGA settlement for Fulani herdsmen across the country.
Recall that the Federal Government weeks ago bowed to the pressure of some Nigerians that were against the RUGA settlement project and announced the suspension of the planned project.
With placards which had inscriptions in Hausa, Fulfulde and English, the students of Usman Dan Fodio University (UDUS) Sokoto called for the implementation of the RUGA settlement as they took to major highways of Sokoto metropolis to protest today, July 13, 2019.
