Varsity Student Slumps, Dies While Playing Basketball

A final year student Of Microbiology Department of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK, Awka, in Anambra State Francis Mmadubuobi, slumped and died while playing basketball at Bakassi few days after signing out.

Francis, who was about to write his final paper died due to the nonchalance and incompetence of the workers at the schools medical center.

Reports from various sources reveal that there was no doctor at the clinic as at the time the late student was rushed to the centre.

Meanwhile, the Students of the institution took to the streets to protest the death of their colleague, due to alleged incompetence of the medical team and unavailability of a Doctor  at the school’s clinic,
