Makarfi Sacks Segun Adewale As PDP Lagos State Chairman
The announcement came at the expanded caucus meeting of PDP leaders in Abuja on Monday Night.
The statement reads:
The illegal caretaker committee imposed or self-appointed chairmen constituted in some state like Jigawa, Lagos, Benue and others are here dissolved and elected executives that won in states congress organised are officially approved to take over with immediate effect. -Sen. Ahmed Makarfi at the Ongoing National Caucus Meeting.
What this means is that Mr Salvador will automatically take over leadership of PDP in Lagos, although Senator Makarfi did not say if PDP candidates vying for elective posts in the forthcoming Local Council election in Lagos will still participate or not.
