UPDATES: List of 34 States and FCT with Confirmed Coronavirus Cases in Nigeria

As of Wednesday night, April 29, thirty-four states so far and Abuja have been confirmed in Nigeria since the first case of Coronavirus disease was reported in Nigeria with at least one case.

Nigeria recorded its first case of Covid-19 after an Italian national tested positive to the virus on February 27.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has given an update of States across the country with confirmed cases of Coronavirus.

NCDC said as at Wednesday night, 34 States and the FCT have confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The number of discharged patients has increased from 255 to 307, while the total number of fatalities is 51.

Lagos has the highest figure with 931 confirmed COVID-19 cases; FCT has the second highest figure with 174 cases, while Kano has 139 cases.

In a tweet, the NCDC wrote: “As at April 29, 2020, breakdown of cases by state.”
