University Temporarily Shutdown Over Kidnapping

The management of Federal University Wukari, Taraba state have shutdown the school over alleged kidnapping of students of the institution.

The circular as gathered by StateRepoter News (SRN) was placed in the early hours of Wednesday after some group of TIV students protested in the school.

The management has ordered all the students in the hostel to vacate before 12 noon & close down the school till further notice.
Sources told SRN that, some group of TIV students starting protesting in the early hours of today over allegedly kidnap of 3 of TIV students and murder of one.

RRN team also gathered that Tension have been high since yesterday as the TIV students insists in seeing the coup of the deceased.

While addressing the protestants, the school management calmed the students down and since placed a circular of vacation.

The closure of the school has generated mixed feeling, as student who reside in the hostel are also protesting over the impromptu closure.

As at time of filing this report, student of the university have started vacating.
