UNIPORT SUG Presidential Aspirant Stabbed To Death

Stephen Mbarie, a 400 Level Science Laboratory Technology student of the University of Port harcourt, Rivers State, has died after being stabbed in the chest by his own blood brother, Elechi.

The stabbing occurred during an argument between the duo around 7pm on Sunday. Stephen was one of those that vied for the post of the president of Uniport’s Student Union Government in the last election.

The cause of the argument remains unknown for now, as Elechi is currently on the run. The deceased’s death came less than 24 hours after attending the burial of an APC leader in his community.
