Ultimate Love: Who Wins the Ultimate Prize…; Programme Starts 3pm on Sunday

The Organisers of Ultimate Love on Saturday evening, March 28, have announced the rounding up of the reality television show will start as early as 3pm WAT on Sunday and with a re-broadcast at 7:30pm WAT.

According to the organisers who posted on his Twitter handle, saying kindly note that the Ultimate Love Nigeria finale will be  live at 3pm WAT.

“UPDATE: Kindly note that the #UltimateLoveNG Finale will now air LIVE at 3PM WAT with a re-broadcast at 7:30PM WAT”.

“Join us tomorrow on DStv 198 / GOtv 29 & the @africamagictv channel to see who will be crowned the Ultimate Couple!”

Recall that on Tuesday, March 24, the organisers of the programme have announced that the reality television show will end on Sunday, March 29, 2020, a week earlier than scheduled due to fears over the spread of Coronavirus.

Broadcast on MultiChoice’s DSTV and GOtv, the first edition of Ultimate Love which kicked off on Sunday, February 9 and was supposed to run for eight weeks has been cut short by one week.

The organisers in their announcement on Tuesday, March 24 said the show has been cut due to concerns over the spread of coronavirus in Nigeria.

“Whilst we know the show has garnered appreciable fans and viewers across Africa, it has become pertinent for us to join the ongoing efforts by the government and global public health officials to flatten the curve against the coronavirus,” part of the announcement read.

The final voting will now be open from Wednesday, March 25 and end on Friday, March 27.

Since it emerged in Wuhan, China, the whole world has had to deal with the spread of the Coronavirus.

Nigeria’s index case was confirmed in late February and since then; more than 89 cases have been confirmed.

The remaining love guests as the Ultimate Love contestants are called are still not aware of what’s happening in the outside world.

Meanwhile, the first edition of Ultimate Love which kicked off on Sunday, February 9 with 8 couples, and later added three couples to it, which making 11 couples in the house.

Out of eleven couples in the house, six couples were so far evicted from the Ultimate Love pad, the Nigeria’s first couple-orientated reality television show.

The couple, Michael and Cherry, popularly known as MiCherry, was the first couple evicted from the Ultimate Love pad on Sunday, March 1 in week 3 of the reality show.

The Couple, Jerry and Meriton, known as Jeriton, was also the second couple was evicted from the love pad in week 4 of the reality show during the live check out show.

The Couple, Jenny Koko and Louis, popularly known as Jelo was the third couple evicted on Sunday, March 15, from the Ultimate Love reality show for the week 5 during the live nomination show

The Couple, Jay and Nkechi, popularly known as JayKech was the fouth couple evicted on Sunday, March 22, from the Ultimate Love reality show for the week 6 during the live nomination show

The two Couples; Obichukwu and Ebiteinye popularly known as Obiebi and Presh Talker and David Wilson is popularly known as PreshDavid have been evicted on Wednesday, March 25, from the Ultimate Love reality show for the week 7 after being nominated by their fellow Love Guests during the live nomination show on last Sunday.

Meanwhile, the remaining top five couples are making it to the final.

The top five couples are:

  1. Iykeresa (Iyke and Theresa),
  2. DoubleChris (Chris Ville and Chris),
  3. Roksie (Rosie and Kachi),
  4. Bolar (Bolanle and Arnold)
  5. and Chivia (Chiddy Bankz and Sylvia).
