The Two members of House of Representatives have dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The members identified as Kolawole Babatunde (Ondo) and Mukaila Kazeem (Ogun), resigned from the ruling party on Wednesday, November 21.
The lawmakers’ resignations letter were read by the speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, during plenary on Wednesday, November 21.
It was further gathered that Babatunde defected to the opposition Peoples Democratic (PDP), while Kazeem did not name his new party.
The lawmakers blame their defections on how the party handled its controversial primaries election.
