Tragedy hit Awo Ekiti in Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government of Ekiti State Wednesday morning, as 18 persons died in an accident that occurred in the town.
A Toyota Hiace bus with Lagos plate number EKY 978 XJ have been conveying passengers from Lagos to Abuja, had a head-on collision with a trailer on Awo – Igede road.
The bodies of the passengers were squeezed in the crushed bus, with witnesses claiming that there was no survivor in the accident.
