Osun LG Chairman Beats Worker to coma

The entire Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun state has been thrown into pandemonium, following the ongoing cold war between the chairman of the Council; Femi Idowu Okanola, and his staff name withheld.

The feud, however, took a new twist on Tuesday, February 11 when the council boss, locked up the innocent woman in his own private office to beat her blue black. The beaten landed her into a coma.

It was gathered that the woman is a staff in the chairman private hotel in Osun State, she requested for her salary, demanded for an explanation, why Chairman has refused to pay their salary from last year June.

The further explanation gathered that there has been a misunderstanding between the Chairman and the woman due to destructive or mismanagement in the account she presented last year that is why he stopped her salary and lead to employ a new accountant.

The victim came to collect three months owed salary during the struggle and huge argument the woman fell and she got cut in the face.

According to the chairman, “he said all the bandaged harm was arrange “Sakamanje” by the woman, family and Friends”.

“Personally, I don’t support the beating of woman, because it’s against God act and our dear country’s constitution”.
