Lagos Socialite Killaboigram Confesses to Stabbing His Girlfriend to Death After an Argument

A Lagos socialite, Benjamin Best, popularly known as Killaboigram on Instagram, has confessed to stabbing his girlfriend, Austa, to death after they had a heated argument in his apartment.

Killaboigram took to his Instagram page on Monday to admit to the crime and share the details of the tragic incident.

He said he and Austa, who was also an Instagram influencer with the handle @Austa_XXO, got into a fight that led to him stabbing her and running away out of fear.

He said he has been suicidal since then and he can no longer live with himself. He said he wants to turn himself in to the police and pay for his crime with his life. He said he ruined his life at the age of 26.

Killaboigram’s posts on his Instagram page @Killaboigram read in part: “I should have left this toxic relationship, but I didn’t. Oh, Lord, forgive me for my sins. I wish I can go back in time and undo this but, it has happened.

“I’m not a bad person, I’m not an evil person, I’m not a criminal.”

In another post, he confessed to the crime saying: “I got into an argument with my girlfriend @austa_Xxo which fight I mistakenly stabbed her and ran away out of fear and been suicidal since then.

“I want to end my life now cos I’ve lost the one I cherish so much.

“I want to do the right thing and turn myself in. I will gladly die by paying with my life now.

“I ruined my life at the age of 26.”

According to reports, Austa’s corpse was found in Killaboigram’s apartment after her family started looking for her when she did not return home. She was a 21-year-old student of Lagos State University.

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that it is investigating the case and has launched a manhunt for Killaboigram.

The police spokesperson, Adekunle Ajisebutu, said the command would not tolerate any form of violence against women and would ensure that justice is served.
