Eleven people, including a taxi driver, have been abducted by gunmen on Monday afternoon in Ekiti State.
Local sources told a correspondent of the Newsflash247 in Ikere- Ekiti that the victims included one taxi Driver popularly called Baba Joyowo, Mr. Olu Arowosegbe, and nine others.
They said a taxi driver with a full load of passengers at Ikere Motor park including one of the abductors pretended to be a passenger heading towards Igbara-Odo Ekiti Road in Ekiti West local area of the state.
A few metres away from the College of Education, Ikere Ekiti, other abductors who were in the bush attacked the passengers.
It was said that two of the victims including an Old woman were released while others were taken away together with the driver.
