Soldiers protest in Ekiti over unpaid allowances beat motorists, passerby
Some Nigerian soldiers on Tuesday protested in Ado Ekiti, the State capital against the non-payment of allowances.
The aggrieved soldiers, according to sources blocked the road leading to the Ekiti Government House and Governor’s Office, shooting sporadically into the air.
An eyewitness said the soldiers were beating motorists and passer-by in the area.
