Six MOPOL Officers Dead, Many Injuries In Abuja-Kaduna Expressway Auto Crash

About 6 Nigerian Mobile Police (MOPOL) Officers have been confirmed dead and many seriously wounded on Monday, following an auto crash involving two vehicles along the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway.

The accident, which took place in Barde community in Jema’a LGA of Kaduna State, about 70 kilometres to Abuja, involved a MOPOL Sharon vehicle which was coming from Jabi in Abuja; and Commercial vehicle coming from Jos.

Although the details of the crash were still sketchy as at the time of filing this report, our correspondent learnt that it was caused by one of the vehicles which was trying to avoid a pothole.
