Kogi Guber: I Will Defeat Musa Wada Convincingly – Yahaya Bello

Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello on Wednesday said he will defeat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Musa Wada convincingly in the Kogi November 16 governorship election, Newsflash247 reports.

Yahaya Bello who is seeking re-election on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) also said he is not threatened by the fact that Engr. Musa Wada, the governorship candidate of the PDP is from Igalaland in Kogi East senatorial district.

Engr Musa Wada who emerged on Wednesday as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Kogi governorship election fixed for November 16.

Newsflash247 gathered that Musa Wada is a younger brother of former governor of the state , Captain Idris Wada and in-law to former governor Ibrahim Idris (Ibro).

Wada polled a total of 748 votes to defeat his closed opponent Ibrahim Abubakar, who polled 710 votes.

Yahaya Bello on last week Thursday emerged the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Kogi.

He won the APC primary with 3,127 with a landslide.

Sani Lulu came second distant with 110 votes while Babatunde Ayo Kunle lrukera came third distant with 4 votes.
