Primate Ayodele Visits Hometown’s Monarch In Ekiti, Announces Plans For Crusade And Town Development
Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, paid a historic visit to his hometown’s traditional ruler, the Ogoga of Ikere-Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adejimi Adu Alagbado, in Ekiti state on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
The man of God was warmly welcomed by the monarch, who expressed his delight at the visit.
Primate Ayodele stated that he came to officially invite the Ogoga and the people of Ikere-Ekiti to his annual thanksgiving programme, which will also feature the inauguration of a new church auditorium in February 2024.
He also revealed that God had instructed him to hold a crusade in Ikere-Ekiti, and that he was ready to come with his team whenever the monarch gave his approval.
He said, “God has told us to hold a crusade in Ikere-Ekiti. We need to pray and I will come with my team to host the prayer as soon as you are ready.
Secondly, this is my root and I want to open a new church auditorium in February 2024. I want to formally invite the Ogoga and the chiefs, as well as the people of Ikere-Ekiti, to be part of the event.”
The prophet also declared his intention to support the development of Ikere-Ekiti, and advised the Ogoga to set up a trust fund where every son and daughter of the land would contribute to the growth of the town.
He said, “I am happy to see you, Kabiesi, and I appreciate this privilege. I also suggest that you establish a support trust fund where every Ikere-Ekiti indigene will contribute to the development of this town. You cannot do it alone and I will be happy to see this town progress.
“We have been doing it in other places and we will do it in our town too. We grew up here, we got educated here and I will support in any way I can to develop this town.”
Oba Adejimi Adu Alagbado thanked Primate Ayodele for the visit and commended him for the good works he had been doing in the prophetic ministry.
The Monarch noted that the man of God had made Ikere-Ekiti proud and appreciated him for always praying for the town. He also assured that he would honour Primate Ayodele’s invitation to be at the new church opening, and that Ikere-Ekiti would be well represented in Lagos at the event.
He said, “Primate Ayodele is one of the top five prophets in Nigeria. He is doing well and he is a proof that we are successful people in Ikere. I urge people to do good because it will always come back to us from generation to generation.
“I am happy and grateful that you remember your home. Whenever he says a word, it is always in the news. I am very glad to receive you today because you have made us proud. We will all be there in February; Ikere must be felt there.”
