PHOTOS: Reps Deputy speaker leads Northern lawmakers to visit Tinubu in London
The lower National Assembly members from the Northern region, on Friday, visited the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in London, United Kingdom.
Tinubu has, for a while, been in London for reported medical reasons.
The former Lagos State Governor is rumoured to have undergone a series of surgery on his knee.
There were claims that Tinubu allegedly underwent another knee surgery at the John Hopkins University Hospital in Maryland, the United States.
It was gathered that the former Lagos State Governor returned to the United Kingdom on crutches after undergoing the successful surgery.
On Friday, in the latest photograph, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Idris Wase led some members of the National Assembly from the Northern region to him in the United Kingdom.
The lawmakers which include Alhassan Ado Garba, Chief Whip of the lower chamber were captured in trending pictures on Friday with Tinubu.
In August, President Muhammadu Buhari paid a surprise visit to Tinubu in London.
Newsflash Nigeria reports that the former Lagos governor has been receiving prominent politicians over the last few weeks in the UK where he is currently recuperating after undergoing a series of knee surgery.
Tinubu received at least 28 Nigerian top government officials including President Muhammadu Buhari in his London residence as state officials continue to squander Nigeria’s scarce resources.

Just like Buhari, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos and another member of the House of Representatives, Hon. James Faleke had also visited the former Lagos State governor.
Also, a former Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, member of the House of Representatives, Usman Zanna and former National Legal Adviser of the APC, Dr Muiz Banire have visited the former governor of Lagos in London to solidarity with him and wished him a quick recovery.
Aside from Sanwo –Olu, Three APC governors; Rotimi Akeredolu, Kayode Fayemi and Umar Ganduje of Ondo, Ekiti and Kano states respectively have also visited Mr Tinubu in London.
In the entourage with Ganduje are his wife Hafsat Ganduje; their son, Umar Ganduje; three lawmakers as well four other members of the Ganduje’s family.
The former Ogun State governor, Ibikunle Amosun and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila also visited Tinubu.
The Lagos State House of Assembly members had paid a visit to the national leader. The lawmakers’ delegation, led by Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, others were Temitope Adewale, chairman of the House Committee on Transportation; Nureni Akinsanya, chairman of the House Committee on Physical Planning and Urban Development; as well as Sylvester Ogunkelu, chairman of the House Committee on Overseas Investments and SDG.
The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Adetokunbo Abiru; Senator Adeola Solomon from Lagos West; Senator Opeyemi Bamidele from Ekiti Central; Senator Adelere Oriolowo from Osun West; and Senator Mohammed Sanni from Niger East also visited the ex-Lagos governor in London.
Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area, Adebayo Olasoju; another politician, Adekunle Akanbi; and popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly called KWAM 1, also visited Tinubu in London.
The APC leader, who had been reported to be eyeing the APC presidential ticket ahead of the 2023 general election, has in recent times been frequently travelling abroad.
