PHOTOS: North-East Drums Massive Support For Atiku As PDP Rallies In Gombe

The Gombe township stadium was filled to the brim with passionate supporters as they welcomed the PDP presidential flag-bearer Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, his running mate, Peter Obi, the National Chairman and other members of the People’s Democratic Party.

The highly joyous crowd of supporters could not hide their excitement as the speakers made their intentions to make Nigeria better.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who spoke in native Hausa was particular about the lies the APC has sold Nigerians, the current sorry state of the country and his plans.

In his words, “don’t allow police and INEC to rig Nigerians.” He continued and announced that “we are going to win,” to the jubilation of the attendant crowd.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Dogara who was present at the rally “Democracy always offers us the opportunity to correct ourselves and four years os too long for a bad leader…”

These statements come at a time that the region suffers a lot of security challenges, with civilian deaths reaching their highest thousands since 2015.

The North-east region of Nigeria has become the most terrorized region in Africa, with the Shehu of Borno recently announcing that Boko Haram still holds territories in the Region.

Atiku’s plans are a beacon light of hope for the joyous crowd who are in awe of the prospect of an Atiku presidency.

For them, they are convinced that just as Atiku creates more than 20,000 jobs for them in his various private companies, there will be even better jobs for them when Nigerians vote him into power.
