PHOTOS: Ekiti House Of Assembly Members Storm Fayose’s Residence

The twenty-three PDP members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly have promised their continued commitment and support to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and governor Ayodele Fayose.

The members who were led by the speaker of the House, Pastor Kola Oluwawole on a solidarity visit to the governor on Friday in Ado Ekiti announced this while addressing newsmen.

Speaking on behalf of the assembly members, Dr. Samuel Omotoso who represents Oye Constituency 1, said they were at the government house to intimate the governor that they remain solidly behind him and the party against all odds.

He maintained that the courtesy call was also to register their displeasure over the perceived irregularities that characterized the recently conducted governorship election in the state and to condemned the purported plan to influence the members to impeach governor Fayose.

Dr. Omotosho pointed out that the members were not in any way at war with the incoming administration in the state but that they would refuse every attempt to use them against the sitting governor.
