The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC ,Adam Oshiomhole and the Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai reportedly interested in taking over the mantle of leadership from Buhari- Osinbajo in 2023 .

The posters of the national chairman contesting for the position of President in 2023 has flooded in Lagos on Saturday evening with the inscription Mandate 2023’ .

Although the APC chieftain has yet to say anything concerning his political ambition for the 2023 elections, there have been rumours that he is planning run for the Presidency in 2023.

Two weeks ago, Newsflash247 reported the posters of the national chairman contesting for the position of President in 2023 has flooded the social media space.

Boldly inscribed on the posters are structural reforms, transformation, continuity and security with the hashtag.

Words on the street said the springing up of the posters is a deliberate attempt from the political camp of Adams Oshiomhole in testing the waters.

It would be recalled that some weeks back the national leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was entangled with a similar campaign launch.

Oshiomhole who is presently enmeshed in a bitter feud with Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki is said to be seriously nursing a presidential ambition and has put in place machinery to checkmate other political gladiators who are interested in the job with the APC national leader, Bola Tinubu leading the pack.

“If Tinubu can test the waters what stops our national chairman from also testing the waters? You know in politics you have to be proactive and calculating, being ahead of the game is key in the battle. Staying ahead of the game ensures you stay in the game”a close aide to Oshiomhole who craved anonymity was quoted as saying.

Meanwhile, others are insinuating that Oshiomhole’s 2023 presidency is the intrinsic reality of the genesis of his hostility with Godwin Obaseki, saying he wants to manipulate the Edo State Governor in order to have a huge financial war chest in preparation for 2023 presidential elections.

“Oshiomhole is power-drunk, he can go any length in achieving his goals. Stubborn and coercive, a man with no single conscience. He can ruin his party and State to achieve his egocentric desire”. A source was quoted as saying. Insisting Oshiomhole is only concerned about his 2023 presidential ambition which he described as dead on arrival.

” If not for the financial discipline of Godwin Obaseki by now Oshiomhole would have empowered his thugs and recruit them in training other thugs around the country in preparation for an electoral onslaught in 2023.You know Adams is brute and heartless. He planned to muscle his way through but God pass am ” he further stated.

Efforts to get the Office of the national chairman of APC, Adams Oshiomhole to comment on the matter proved abortive as at the time of filing this report.
