Former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, has denied the rumour already circulating on social media that his group will challenge the outcome of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) South-West Congress in the court.
The former governor said he will work with the newly elected party leaders in the zone lead by Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja.
Recall that the PDP South West held her congress in Osogbo days ago where the former Deputy Governor of Oyo State Arapaja polled 343 and former zonal chairman Olafeso polled 330 votes.
In a series of tweet on his official twitter handle on Friday, Fayose reiterate his commitment to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He said “Let all well wishers of our party be assured that the Fayose Group in the South-West PDP that I lead by God’s grace, will stand by our words and will not challenge the outcome of the South-West Congress in the court.

“PDP remains our only hope and that of Nigerians at large. It must therefore be jealously preserved by our priceless sacrifice.
“This is our bound.
“Therefore, I make bold to say that Eddy Olafeso, myself and other leaders on this side will cooperate with Ambassador Arapaja’s team to make our party a success story in the Zone, Fayose twitted.
