Osun 2022: Davido speaks about his uncles; Senator Adeleke and Dele’s guber race

Popular Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has revealed his stand on the 2022 governorship election in Osun State.

Davido’s uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke and his cousin, Dele Adeleke, both had obtained the governorship forms under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The singer said he has no option but to throw his weight behind his uncle, Ademola Adeleke to emerge as the next Governor of Osun State.

This is coming after it was reported that the singer’s cousin, Dele Adeleke picked up a nomination form to contest in the 2022 Osun governorship election

Dele was at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja earlier on Friday, to pick the party’s expression of interest and nomination forms for the gubernatorial primaries for the sum of N21 million.

Davido in reaction to the development took to the Instagram story to share a video of his uncle campaigning for the 2018 election and described him as the incoming Governor of Osun State.

Recall that Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress defeated Adeleke in 2018 after a supplementary election was conducted.
