The camp of the Yemi Osinbajo Campaign Organisation has reacted to the alleged fake Christian clerics that attended Wednesday’s unveiling of the Vice Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Kashim Shettima.
Recall that, on Wednesday the fake bishops had appeared at the unveiling of the APC Presidential running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima in Abuja, to create an impression that nation-building was a greater focus than religious beliefs.
However, Catholic Church said it did not send any representation to the vice presidential candidate. One of the fake bishops also narrated how the ruling party paid them for their appearance.
But the spokesman of the Yemi Osinbajo Campaign Organisation, Richard Akinnola jokingly wrote about bishopric garments
Mr Akinnola comments on bishopric garments come shortly after the media was agog over the ‘fake’ Christian bishops allegedly hired by the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
Newsflash Nigeria understands that Tinubu’s choice of a Muslim, Sen. Kashim Shettima, as a running mate in the 2023 presidential election has stirred outcries and arguments.
According to Mr Akinnola, via his Facebook page, the phrase ‘unknown’ has been trending on social media, and it is something to laugh about.
Mr Akinnola, who was a campaign aide to Osinbajo at the APC presidential primaries, made this comment on Thursday morning.
In his own words; “From (Unknown gun men) to (Unknown God men). Check out the alliteration. I love this country die. Bye bye. Let me go and enjoy my medical vacation.
“I’m still minding my business based on my doctor’s orders…though I’m still looking for my Bishopric garments which l kept at Mofeto shursh’s vestry. Running back to my hibernation. Bye.”
