Ondo Decides: Politicians buy votes as electorate get between N5000 and N10000

As voting begins in the ongoing governorship election in Ondo State, vote-buying has characterized in the election, Newsflash247 confirmed.

Both the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, are engaged in buying of votes.

The buying of votes by agents of both parties was done secretly.

It was gathered that APC gave as much as N5000 to N10000 depending on the wards, while the PDP was said to be giving N5000 and below.

The incident occurred at Pollíng Unit 11, Edo Lodge in Oke Ijebu, Akure, the state capital.

Ondo police spokesman, Tee-Lee Ikoro confirmed the incident to newsmen in Akure.

Rain disrupts voting process in Akeredolu’s hometown

Early morning rain in Owo, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, has disrupted voting activities in the town.
