Nurse Arrested Over Mohbad’s Death, Actress Iyabo Ojo Reveals
Actress Iyabo Ojo has given an update on the police investigation of the death of rapper Mohbad, who died under mysterious circumstances on September 12, 2023.
She said the nurse who treated Mohbad before his passing has been arrested, along with some other suspects.
Ojo shared a video message on her Instagram page on Wednesday night, where she informed her fans about her visit to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police and the progress made by the police on the case.
She said the nurse, who allegedly injected Mohbad with an unknown substance, has been apprehended and is being interrogated by the police.
She also said that some other people have been arrested in connection with Mohbad’s death, and that some others have been asked to turn themselves in.
She did not mention any names, but she said she would keep her fans updated as the investigation unfolds.
Newsflash Nigeria recalls that Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, had said in an interview that he suspects foul play in his son’s death, and that he believes the nurse might have worsened his son’s condition with the injection.
He also accused Mohbad’s record label boss, Naira Marley, and his manager, Sam Larry, of having a hand in his son’s death.
Mohbad was a popular rapper and singer, who was signed to Marlian Records Company. He died at the age of 27, leaving behind many fans and colleagues who mourned his demise.
