A farmer, Paul Amaechi, has been arrested by the operatives of the Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in connection with the murder of a herder in Osun State.
The herder was killed for grazing his cattle on Amaechi’s farm at Telemu village in Ago-Owu, Ayedaade Local Government Area of the state.
The incident occurred on Thursday when the herder’s body was found mutilated on Amaechi’s farm. Amaechi, who is from the Tiv ethnic group, was suspected of being involved in the killing, along with some other accomplices.
