Nigerians React to How Footballer Hakimi escaped his Wife’s 50% divorce claims

Nigerians have reacted on social media on how Moroccan footballer and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) player, Achraf Hakimi escaped his wife, Hiba Abouk demanded half of his property.

Recall that Achraf Hakimi has landed himself into a saga that is about to tear his family apart.

Achraf Hakimi has never really been a controversial footballer since he hit the limelight after going on loan to Borussia Dortmund from Real Madrid in 2018. But in 2023, he has projected a different personality of himself and his career to the world.

In March, a report went viral that prosecutors in France were investigating Achraf Hakimi for allegedly assaulting an unnamed victim s-xually.

To add to the viral reports, the prosecutors invited him for questioning, and a suit was filed against him afterward.

Despite the allegation, Hakimi was allowed to continue playing for PSG and travel out of France when necessary.

Reports in France claimed that Achraf Hakimi allegedly assaulted the victim when his wife Hiba Abouk was on vacation with their two kids.

After the news went viral that Achraf Hakimi has been accused of rape, his wife, Hiba Abouk decided to separate herself from the Moroccan footballer.

Afterward, she decided to file for divorce over the rape saga even though her husband had said he wasn’t guilty and the court is yet to find him guilty.

In her divorce claims, Hiba Abouk asked the court to end her marriage with the footballer and share the footballer’s wealth in two, one for her, and the other for the footballer.

During the court hearing, the court broke the heart of Abouk further when the court announced to her that Achraf Hakimi has nothing to share.

Nothing to share! Well, no one will believe this because Hakimi has played for Real Madrid, Dortmund, Inter Milan, and Morocco at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and is currently at PSG. How does he not have something to share?

To make it more shocking, Hakimi earns a whopping €1.2 million per month (€280,000 per week) so how come he has nothing to share?

Well, the court told Hakimi’s wife that 80 percent of the footballer’s wealth is registered under her mother’s name, Sadia Mouth, which means that the footballer is only controlling 20 percent of his wealth.

Hence, if the court has to share the wealth of the footballer between him and his estranged wife, it has to be 20 percent under his control.

No one knows yet why the 24-year-old footballer decided to register 80 percent of his wealth under his mother’s name but whatever the reason was, Hakimi and his mother will be very excited about the move right now.

Meanwhile, Nigerians have reacted on social media on how Hakimi escaped his wife, Hiba Abouk demanded half of his property.

Former Presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has taken to his Facebook page to advise men to emulate Moroccan footballer, Achraf Hakimi.

Omokri said that there are things young men could learn from the footballer’s decision to save his money with his mother.

He said, after God, nobody loves like mothers, not even wives.

He also stressed that wives who may not be ready to die for their husbands would do the same for their children, asking young men to take their mothers first.

Reno said, “Have a mother like Hakimi’s mother and you will never have a bother. Hopefully, young men who disrespect their mothers because of their wives can learn a thing or two from Hakimi.

“Nobody can love you like God. But after God, nobody can love you like your mother, with the possible, but not certain, exception of your father! Hakimi makes us appreciate the lyrics of Prince Nico Mbarga’s Sweet Mother.

 “You begin to understand why there are motherless babies’ homes, but no fatherless babies’ homes. Your wife may not take a bullet for you. But she will most likely take it for her child with you”.

Veteran Nigerian singer, Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, lauded the Morocco international for outsmarting his ex-wife.

The Nwata Miss crooner said Hakimi’s ex-wife wanted to play smart by filing for divorce and demanding half of his properties, but was outsmarted by the footballer.

He wrote: “Cunny man die, cunny man bury am.

“Dis Achraf Hakimi the football has dribbled his wife wey file for divorce and demanded half of his property. Hmm, some women sha.

The woman was weak when the court informed her dat “Millionaire’ husband owns nothing.

Everything he has was in his mother’s name.”

He mocked “gold diggers,” urging women to work hard for their own money.
