The N-power Schemes has raised concern over a trending fake website, https://npower.com.ng, surfaces online with the idea of harvesting prospective applicants personal information and gain traffic
A Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to President Muhammadu Buhari on Job Creation, Afolabi Imoukhuede raised the alarm Tuesday on N-power Twitter handle.
It said that the fake website was a scam.
“We alert the general public about a purported recruitment portal registration website of the N-Power: https://npower.com.ng
“The website which is trending on social media is unauthorised and a scam.
“Our internal investigation has revealed that the fake website is idea of harvesting prospective applicants personal information and gain traffic.
The authentic Npower recruitment portal is www.npower.gov.ng and as we speak right now they are not taking new application. Beneficiaries of the N-Power programme quickly noticed the activities of the scam website and notify N-Power team to release a public statement regarding this issue to protect applicants data privacy.
