N-Power Beneficiaries Concern Not Paid March Salary After Election

The N-Power beneficiaries are doubted their stand over not paid the March salary after the general election on which the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC declared the President Muhammadu Buhari as re-elected for the second term.

Newsflash247 gathered that the presidency has blamed the delay in the payment of the March 2019 salary for beneficiaries of the N-Power scheme on the Ministry of Finance and the Accountant General’s Office.

The online news medium understands that the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Job Creation and Youth Empowerment, Afolabi Imoukhuede, said this on Thursday about the N-Power March 2019 salary.

Imoukhuede, however, assured that all N-Power beneficiaries will get a piece of good news about their salary before the end of the week.

This news medium gathered that he said the delay in the payment of the N-Power stipend for  March is not a ploy by the Federal Government to exit them from the programme.

“It is not as if we had paid batch two and we did not pay batch one, there is a delay and I think the government has been consistent in payment,” he told NAN in Abuja.

“The issues are being worked out between the Ministry of Finance and the Accountant General’s Office, and once these are resolved, the beneficiaries will get their stipend.

“I am sure, this week it will be resolved.”
