Missing Ekiti Popular Broadcaster, Remi “Alausa” Okunola Found Unconscious

A popular broadcaster who features prominently on the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti, Remi Okunola, popularly known as Alausa Special who was declared missing a few days ago has been found.

Newsflash Nigeria had earlier reported that Ms Okunola had been declared missing by colleagues and family members.

Ms Okunola was said to have left home in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital on Saturday, June 4, for Ibadan, Oyo State perhaps for the Master of Ceremony (MC) job, but to an unknown destination.

According to her colleague, Bayo Famoroti, Alausa boarded a vehicle with a neighbour who confirmed that she dropped her at a bus stop in Ibadan but no one including her husband could ascertain where she actually went to in Ibadan and what happened to her.

According to the viral video circulated on social media seen by Newsflash Nigeria, the broadcaster has been found in an unconscious condition.

In a viral video, her relatives said she was brought by some persons in Ado Ekiti and could not talk.

The detail of how she was found was sketchy at the time of filing this report.

The Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State, BSES, where Ms Okunola features prominently also confirmed that she has been found.

She was brought from Ibadan Oyo state by a kind-hearted individual to her church in Ado Ekiti where she was later taken to the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital Ado Ekiti for treatment, the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State reports.

The incidence is currently being investigated by the Nigerian Police Ekiti State Command, Oke Ila Division, Ado Ekiti.
