Man Claims His Manhood Vanished After Handshake With Bus Driver in Abuja
A bizarre incident occurred in Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where a man alleged that his manhood disappeared after he shook hands with a commercial bus driver.
The man, identified as Sadiq, said he felt a strange sensation in his body after the handshake and discovered that his manhood was gone.
According to a witness, Salihu Ibrahim, who spoke to Newsflash Nigeria, the incident happened around 4pm at the Sabon-Tasha Garage in Abaji town.
He said that the bus driver, named Godwin, stopped to buy drinks and greeted Sadiq with a handshake. He then asked Sadiq where he could get a shop to buy wine.
Ibrahim said, “I was seated in front of a shop when the bus driver came out and shook hands with the man and asked him where he could get a shop to buy wine.
“So, it was immediately after the handshake that the man complained that his body was doing him somehow.”
Sadiq raised alarm and accused the driver of stealing his manhood diabolically. Some people chased the driver and beat him up, while others rescued him and took him to the police command in the area. Sadiq was also rushed to the hospital to check if his manhood was really missing.
When our correspondent visited the police command, he saw a crowd of people demanding that the suspect be handed over to them for jungle justice.
A police officer, who did not want to be named, told our correspondent that the suspect confessed to taking the victim’s manhood, but claimed that he had returned it back to him.
He said, “We went to the hospital to meet with the victim and he said his manhood had been returned, but we will keep the suspect until the victim recovers fully before he will be charged to court.”
The suspect, who drove an 18-seater bus with registration number: XH 894 BDG, loaded with passengers from Zuba heading to Auchi, Edo State, is currently in police custody.
The police have warned the public to desist from taking laws into their own hands and spreading rumours of disappearance of private parts.
