Romelu Lukaku scored in his second consecutive for Manchester United, as they beat their local rivals Manchester City 2-0, in the International Champions Cup (ICC) on Friday morning.
The Belgium international opened his account with the Red Devils following his £75m move from Everton, in their 2-1 win over Salt Lake City earlier this week.
Lukaku put Jose Mourinho’s men 1-0 up in the 37th minute, pouncing on a long ball to bravely finish pass Ederson.
Marcus Rashford doubled their advantage just two minutes after, slotting home following a quickfire counter-attack led by Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
There were no goals in the second half, as United claimed early bragging rights.
The clash in Houston is City’s first in pre-season while United have picked up wins over LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake.
