Lawyer, three other kidnap victims regain freedom in Ekiti
A lawyer, Sule Adedayo Longe and three other residents of Ekiti State who were kidnapped a few days ago at Ijesa Isu, in Ikole Local Government Area have been regained freedom.
Newsflash Nigeria had earlier reported that a lawyer and unspecified passengers were abducted on Tuesday evening along the Ijesa-Isu axis on their way to Ado-Ekiti from Omuo Ekiti.
Longe, was a former House of Assembly member in Ekiti during the first term of Governor Ayodele Fayose and represented Ekiti East Constituency ll.
Longe was travelling from Omuo Oke Ekiti to Ado Ekiti, the state capital in preparation for a case at the court on Wednesday when he was stopped and pulled out of his vehicle to an unknown destination.
According to the source gathered that Barrister Longe and three other victims were released on Friday evening after paying some ransom to their abductors.

Meanwhile, the Ekiti Police Command confirmed that the victims were released on Friday evening.
The Public Relations Officer, ASP Sunday Abutu said that the victims were released through a combined effort of the police, the family and other security agents.
He said “They have all been released today at about 18:00hrs through the combined efforts of the police, the military, Amotekun, local hunters, as well as the family members.
“Effort is still ongoing for the possible arrest of the culprits.”
