Islamisation: Obasanjo Have Short Memory – Buhari’s Aide Slams Ex-President
Lauretta Onochie, President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on social media, on Thursday, May 23, reacted to former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s comment on the Islamisation and fulanisation of the country.
On her twitter page, Lauretta Ononchie tweeted a quote she agreed with which was made by one Jackson Ter. The quote said Fulani men of northern Nigerian were responsible for Obasanjo’s freedom before he became president in 1999.
She added that the former president is an hypocrite for turning around to attacking the same Fulani people that also made him president when he had just N25,000 in his bank account.
Onochie backed up the quote with Obasanjo’s old picture, saying that some people have short memories. Recall that that it was earlier reported that Obasanjo on Saturday, May 18, reportedly claimed the aim of the terror sect Boko Haram is ‘Fulanisation’ of West Africa and Islamisation of Africa.
Obasanjo said this in a keynote address at the 2019 Synod of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), held in Oleh, Isoko South council area of Delta state. He spoke on the topic ‘Mobilizing Nigeria’s human and natural resources for national development and stability.’
Speaking on the security threat posed by the Boko Haram insurgency and cattle rustling in the north, Obasanjo said: “They have both incubated and developed beyond what Nigeria can handle alone. They are now combined and internationalized with ISIS in control.
“It is no longer an issue of lack of education and lack of employment for our youths in Nigeria which it began as, it is now West African fulanization, African Islamization and global organized crimes of human trafficking, money laundering, drug trafficking, gun trafficking, illegal mining and regime change.
