Imo Assembly Moves To Impeach Rochas Okorocha

Information from Owerri Imo State Capital has it that 22 of the 27 State House of Assembly members have concluded plans and gathering signatures to impeach the State Governor Rochas Okorocha.

According to sources familiar with the move, the Lawmakers comprises of both Members of the All Progressives Congress and the People’s Democratic Party making it a bipartisan move.

Sources told Newsflash247 that, the All Progressives Congress Lawmakers are furious they were denied Tickets to return to the House or proceed to the Federal House of Representatives.

While the PDP Lawmakers see the move as an opportunity to correct the Wrongs of 7 years of Okorocha’s maladministration.

Recall that the governor is currently at loggerheads with his party the APC as his favorite Candidates including his Son-in-law Uche Nwosu losing out in the Party’s Primaries to the Hope and Madumere Faction of the Party.
