Imo APC Guber Primary: Police Commissioner Removed
An election duty commissioner of police from Kogi state, Ali Janga, has been posted to Imo state
Janga was posted to the state by the IGP, Ibrahim Idris, in a bid to ensure a hitch-free governorship primary of the APC
The election which was scheduled for Sunday, September 30 was moved till Monday, October 1
Imo state’s police command, on Monday, October 1, announced that it had received an election duty commissioner of police from Kogi state, Ali Janga, posted to the state by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris.
This came up as a way of making the state governorship primary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), is hitch-free.
Daily Sun reports that Janga declared that the IGP has demonstrated that he is an advocate of the rule of law had requested for his interim deployment to the state.
