Imo 2019: Okorocha’s Son-In-Law, Nwosu Dumps APC
The embattled former chief of staff of Imo state, Uche Nwosu has officially dumped the All Progressives Congress for another party in order to Contest for the Gubernatorial Election.
This is coming as INEC is set to announce Governorship candidates for next year’s general election on Friday, November 2, even as the Case to determine who fly the flag of the Party is pending in court..
According to sources, The Governor’s Son-in-law bought the form and completed the form, also submitted it as a fallback in the event he did not get the ticket to run under the platform of the APC.
“it was a smart move the governor did not want to take chances he is poised to ensure that his son in law become the next governor of Imo state we are with him we will support him, we are with him, he is going to be the governor of Imo state”, the source hinted.
Meanwhile, the governor who will fly the flag of the APC in the senatorial race in Orlu federal constituency will remain in the party as his son in law will contest for the governorship in another party.
“The governor is not moving, recall the governor is the leader of the APC in the south-east, he is not going anywhere, the governor will be in the party the governor will ensure that the party wins the state both in federal, state assembly, national assembly, the governor will ensure that his Son-in-law becomes governor of the state, it is going to happen, there are no two ways about it” the source confided in us.
