Ikere Youths welcome Arole Oodua, Ooni of Ife to Ikere Kingdom

The Supreme  Council of Ikere Youths(SCIY) welcome the Arole Oodua, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Eniitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, Ooni of Ile Ife and other Royal fathers to the Ikere Kingdom for Commissioning of Ikere Hall of Fame  and launching of Ikere Anthem will on Saturday, December 9, 2017, by 11am at Ogoga Palace in Ikere Kingdom, Ekiti State.
The Supreme Council of Ikere Youths is an apex body for all youths in Ikere Community, it serves as an avenue for “consensus ad idem” and the empowerment of the people.

According to the Press release by the president of the Council, Mr. Akin Afuye says “On Saturday, December 9, 2017, Ikere Kingdom will play host to Arole Odua, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, Oonirinsa of Ile Ife who will lead Royal Team of Obas to the Ikere Kingdom”.

“The event will be under the Chairmanship of Asiwaju Wole Olanipekun SAN and Princess Bisi Ogunneye FCA as Chairperson. The Chief Launcher of the day is Pastor Bolu Alabi”.

“Also some Ikere Icons will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on this day”.

“The service of a consultant from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile Ife has been secured for the management of the Hall of Fame. Also, CD copies of Ikere Anthem will be made available for Ikere Indigenes on that day at a token and henceforth this Anthem will be sung at every gathering of Ikere Indigenes for opening”.

“Also, the president appreciates the Bobagunwa Dimeji Isiaka and Yeye Bobagunwa Toyin Isiaka for the donation of this befitting edifice (Hall of Fame building) to the Ikere Kingdom”.

The President used this medium to announce the array the events lined up of the SCIY for the end of the year 2017.
