I will create 1 million jobs in the first 24 months – Tinubu
Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has promised to create one million jobs in the first 24 months if elected.
Former Lagos Deputy Governor Otunba Femi Pedro gave this assurance in Abuja when he explained the manifesto of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at a one-way symposium.
According to Pedro, Tinubu has 12 key economic points to get Nigeria out of the current economic doldrums.
Other key economic activities that Tinubu will implement, he said, include: bringing back manufacturing companies like Dunlop that left the country many years ago; resuscitating the commodity boards; empowering women; expanding infrastructure provision and curtailing the runaway inflation.
Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Professional Forum has kick-started the public engagement of the 80-page action plan for a better Nigeria of the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The one-day public symposium has as its theme: “Dissecting the Asiwaju Manifesto – Renewed Hope 2023”.
The symposium will x-ray the Tinubu economic blueprint for national prosperity; the Tinubu infrastructural roadmap for Nigeria’s development; the Tinubu judicial and law reform for Nigeria and the Tinubu Panacea for a safe and secure Nigeria.
Welcoming participants to the symposium, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the forum, Malam Isa Yuguda, said the talk shop is actualising the desire to educate and get feedback from the electorate on the manifesto.
