Yoruba Actor, Ifeoluwa Gbadegeshin, has debunked the rumour that the late movie star, Murphy Afolabi hit his head in his bathroom, as widely spread on social media.
Many people thought, based on reports, that Murphy Afolabi slipped in his bathroom, causing his death.
Gbadegeshin, a close friend of the deceased, disclosed at the burial that Murphy was recovering from an illness, as he said that a nurse had examined him moments before his death.
According to him, the late actor vomited and collapsed as he went for his bath, and by the time the people around lifted and tried to help him, it was too late.
Ifeoluwa added that Murphy Afolabi was getting ready for production and had just hung up the phone with the person he told to call the movie’s cast before he died.
Remember another friend, Adekola Tijani aka Kamilu Kompo said he spoke with the deceased about 30 minutes before his passing.
