Hoodlums Attack Atiku’s Campaign Office, Destroy Billboards

Hoodlums on Thursday night attacked the campaign office of Friends of Atiku in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi state capital and destroyed massive billboards in front of the office.

Friends of Atiku is a support group rooting for the election of former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the next president of Nigeria.

The hoodlums attacked the group’s office along mile 50, Abakaliki the state capital.

Newsflash247 gathered that the ugly incident has generated a flurry of condemnations with the residents of the city who are predominantly PDP protesting the development.

One of the leaders of the group in the state and Onicha local Government Coordinator of the group, Comrade Nnamdi Ogbonnaya Onu, condemned the development, describing it as despicable.
