Gbenga Aruleba Of AIT Relieved From Anchoring ‘Focus Nigeria’

The Popular host of political talk show..”FOCUS NIGERIA” which Prince Gbenga Aruleba airs every weekday between 10am to 11am on AIT has been relieved from anchoring the show

Gbenga Arulegba made this known in a series of tweet released from his official twitter handle @gbengaaruleba.

No official reason has been given for this sudden development.

He said ” As if I knew this would be my LAST OUTING on this programme, I was thanking my crew profusely. Thank God I had the chance to publicly do that. These past two months that Focus Nigeria was Decreed into a pre recording program, it hasn’t been easy”

Now, all the stress has ended as I yield the floor to another, very versatile colleague mine. I THANK you for the love and useful tips as well. This twitter handle has ceased to be the official handle for Focus Nigeria. Its now my personal handle”

“The new handlers of the programme will come up with a new one, I trust and so you can keep the conversation going there . Am still in AIT, just only relieved of handling this programme, so nothing mega”

Gbenga Aruleba hails from Ikere- Ekiti in Ikere Local government Area of Ekiti State.

Prince Gbenga Aruleba has been Head of Current Affairs at Daar Communications Plc since August 20, 2014. Mr. Aruleba served as a Director of News – Radio at Daar Communications Plc. He started his career with Radio Lagos in 1983 and also served as Editor. He joined DAAR in 1996 and served as its General Manager of RayPower (Abuja) since 2006. He won the award of exceptional performance as Editor of the Year 1992. He was the best All Round Student in the NIJ in 1987. He attended several courses both local and abroad in the course of professional development. He attended the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, NIJ, where he obtained a Diploma in Journalism in 1988.
