Former World Best footballer, George Weah wins Liberia Presidential election
A former world best footballer, George Tawlon Manneh Oppong Ousman Weah, has reportedly led the Liberia Presidential election, and about to declare him a winner by the electoral commission of the country.
Weah is currently leading his opponent in the results already announced.
The 1995 FIFA World Player of the Year and Ballon d’Or winner will succeed President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, in a contest that completes the country’s first democratic transition of power in more than 70 years.
