Fayemi Reviews Curfew hours in Ekiti
Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi, on Monday, October 26, has reviewed the curfew time earlier imposed on residents of the state, Newsflash247 reports.
According to a statement issued on Monday by the State Commissioner for Information and Values Orientation, Akinbowale Omole, the restriction time is now from 8 pm to 6 am daily.
The commissioner asked residents of the state to go about their lawful duties without fear of molestation.
“The curfew in Ekiti State has been reviewed. Restriction time is now 8 pm to 6 am daily. Ekiti are enjoined to plan their journey times as they go about their lawful businesses.

“PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
“This is to inform the general public in Ekiti State that the state government has reviewed the period of the ongoing curfew.
“It is now from dusk to dawn, starting from 8pm to 6am daily.
“All members of the public are to go about their normal businesses without fear of molestation.

Governor Fayemi had imposed the curfew on Tuesday, October 20, following violent attacks perpetrated by hoodlums in the state under the guise of the #EndSARS protest.
