Fayemi appoints Prof Adeoluwa as Ikere varsity VC
Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, on Wednesday, has appointed Professor Olufemi Victor Adeoluwa as Vice Chancellor of the newly approved Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere Ekiti in Ekiti State.
The governor also appointed Mr. Ojo Olurotimi Gbenga as Registrar of the institution.
Adeoluwa, a professor of Educational Technology was the Provost of the College Of Education, Ikere Ekiti before it was upgraded to a University in October 2020.
Professor Adeoluwa has been occupying the position in an acting capacity since the University was created.
In a statement released by Chief Press Secretary to Governor Fayemi, Yinka Oyebode, disclosed that Mr. Apata Babatunde Abioye and Mr. Oyegbaju C. O, have also been appointed Bursar and Librarian of the university respectively.
Mr Oyebode said the appointment of the principal officers takes effect immediately.
