EPL: Mourinho Furious Premier League Board As Fixtures For 2018-19 Released [FULL TEAM’S FIXTURES]

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, is furious with the Premier League board for giving Liverpool a more favourable series of fixtures than the Red Devils.

Jurgen Klopp men will play each of their EPL matches directly proceeding their six Champions League group games at home, while United, Man City and Tottenham have an even split of three away and three at home.

The Times, UK, reports that Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and Tottenham’s Maurico Pochettino are said to be unconcerned by the situation, but that Mourinho is angry with the Premier League and their decision-making process.

The newspaper reports that the former Chelsea boss does not believe the disparity is fair and intends to brings up the issue during the season, having made frequent complaints about scheduling over the course of previous seasons.

Liverpool will play Southampton, Man City, Cardiff, Fulham, Everton and – in a particularly ironic twist – Man United at home in the domestic games directly proceeding Champions League nights.

By contrast, only United’s first three Champions League games will be followed by a home match in the Premier League, against Wolves, Newcastle and Everton. However, the subsequent three will see United travel to the Etihad to take on champions Man City, St Mary’s to take on Southampton and Anfield to face Liverpool.

United do at least get to kick-off the new Premier League season at home when Leicester City visit Old Trafford on August 11, before an away trip to Brighton and then another home match against Spurs.
