Ekiti Teachers Recruitment: Applicants To Pay N1,255 For Fayemi’s Test

Applicants of the 2019 Ekiti state teachers recruitment exercise have expressed dissatisfaction as the state government required them to pay for the process, Newsflash247 reports.

According to reports verified by Newsflash247, the state government required every applicant to pay One Thousand and Fifty Naira (N1,050), and N205 Remita charge making N1,255 before they can sit for an examination which is a part of the recruitment process.

A check on the official site of the state government confirmed this to us.

Over 19,000 applicants had applied online for the primary school teaching jobs advertised by the State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB. With only 1,100 of them set to be given the job.

This has led to an outcry from the applicants who see the N1,255 charge as outrageous and a form of extortion.
