Ekiti PDP LG, State Congresses: Appeal Court dismisses Olujimi’s caucus suit

The Appeal Court sitting in Ado Ekiti on Thursday dismissed the suit filed by the caucus loyal to the Senator representing Ekiti South senatorial district, Biodun Olujimi over the congress that produced the present Local government areas (LGAs) and State Executive Committee members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

The court dismissed suit no CA/EK/50M/2021 following the Appellant, Ayo Ibikunle and two others who belong to the “Repositioning group” withdrawal of the case.

Though, the reason for the Repositioning group withdrawing the case is still sketchy at of time of filing this report.

Olujimi had through Ayo Ibikunle and others, filed a motion ex-parte, seeking an order of the court, restraining the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) from recognizing any list as a result of the election of Local Government Areas and State Executive Committee members.
